Going into this offseason it was clear that the Dallas Cowboys would need to make some changes defensively. After all, this unit was one of the worst in the NFL last season when it came to rushing yards allowed (158.8 yards per game) and points allowed (29.6 points per game).
That’s the main reason the Cowboys opted to part ways with defensive coordinator Mike Nolan this offseason after a single year in Dallas. In his place, the team hired former Atlanta Falcons head coach, Dan Quinn.
