FRISCO -- As it sits in mid-May, Dak Prescott is doing nothing to publicly intensify ongoing contract negotiations with the Cowboys.
The quarterback continues to say all the right things regarding an extension that is expected to pay the former fourth-round draft pick in the neighborhood of $30 million a year. Speaking at the team's annual Reliant Home Run Derby to raise money for The Salvation Army, he didn't put a time frame on when he wants the deal done.
"I want to be a Cowboy forever," Prescott said. "I think the people that are doing the deal feel the same way, so to me it's no rush.
