The Dallas Cowboys have placed DE Charles Tapper on injured reserve Thursday, according to Charean Williams.
Reports from Wednesday has said that Tapper was facing a 10-12 week recovery period and would need surgery to repair a broken right foot suffered during Wednesday’s practice, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
Tapper could still be a candidate to return from I.R. later on in the season.
Tapper, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.
