With the 3 p.m. Saturday deadline of cutting down the roster to 53 players looming, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones touched on a number of topics during his regular radio show Friday morning on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM). Here are the highlights;
--Jones said the team liked the versatility of offensive lineman Parker Ehinger, whom Dallas obtained Friday by trading cornerback Charvarious Ward to Kansas City.
"We liked him in the draft two years ago," Jones said. "Obviously we needed some depth here. He has played guard, tackle, and can play center. If you have that type of position flex for us, then he could be a really unique fit for us.
