ARLINGTON, Texas – Joseph Randle did not play in Sunday’s 13-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in part because of a strained oblique, but Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said the team is concerned about the mental well-being of their running back.
“I'm always concerned as to any issues regarding the [mental] health of a player," Jones said. "It's a lot more serious than the football [injury].”
Randle has been excused from the team since last Wednesday. According to sources, Randle is facing discipline for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy, stemming from an incident in Wichita, Kansas, last winter.
