Cowboys owner Jerry Jones apologizes for criticizing grass field at San Francisco's new Levi's Stadium

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys owner Jones was adamant Sunday night that he was wrong about his concerns with the grass field at San Francisco’s new Levi’s Stadium.

Jones on Friday on KRLD-FM said Levi’s Stadium has “field problems.”

“This field is really causing us to have to look at what we’re going to do during the game because of the challenges of this turf not taking hold,” Jones added. “It reminds me of what we did down in Mexico City. If y’all remember those clumps as big as softballs. Just huge, big clumps out there.
