Cowboys only have ties to Super Bowl 50

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys will be Super Bowl spectators once again with the Carolina Panthers taking on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 7.

While the Cowboys won’t be there, there will be plenty of ties to the franchise.

Let’s start with Broncos outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware. He is the Cowboys’ all-time leader in sacks with 117 and was almost unblockable in the AFC Championship Game win against the New England Patriots. He had just a half sack but he had seven quarterback pressures and made life miserable for Tom Brady.
