With a mass exodus from Dallas in free agency the last couple weeks, the Cowboys have a better sense of their draft needs. Picking at No. 28 in the first round, Dallas will be sorely needing a defensive end or cornerback. Offensive linemen are higher on the list, too, after guard Ron Leary went to Denver in free agency and right tackle Doug Free retired. Here are some early mock draft projections for the Cowboys' 2017 first-round pick:
Taco Charlton: DE, Michigan
"Charlton is just a solid all-around player -- he can get after the QB and stop the run -- and Dallas could use a few more of those along the defensive line.
