With a win on Monday night the Dallas Cowboys would earn their third in a row, a hypothetical season-high for the team. It stands to reason that this will not happen and the Cowboys will come down to earth, so to speak, following back-to-back wins over division rivals. This is the NFL though and anything is possible, although that is a strange way to look at a potential win over a 4-8 team in Cincinnati.
The Bengals have been in their own state of misery as they have fewer wins than the Cowboys despite fielding the league’s leading passer in Joe Burrow and receiver in Ja’Marr Chase to this point in the season.
