Since Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden are unlikely to play in the preseason finale Thursday night, the Cowboys will head into the regular season with some questions regarding their running back situation.
Injuries have limited both backs from running away with the bell cow role DeMarco Murray held in 2014.
During a Monday radio interview Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones stopped short of saying the team was set at the position.
“We got three backs here that we like a lot,” Jones told the G-Bag Nation show on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM]. “If we saw a young back to add to the mix, we’d certainly look at it.
