In the final game of their 2015 season, the Dallas Cowboys may have salvaged a better future for losing one meaningless game. With Sunday’s 34-23 defeat at the hands of their dreaded rivals, the NFC East champion Washington Redskins, the Cowboys insure they will have either the number three overall pick in the upcoming draft, or the fourth. It’s a great position to be in as that status effects all of their picks in every round of the draft as well.
Unfortunately, in order to get in that position in the first play, they had to lose. And despite some great individual performances, lose they did.
