ARLINGTON -- Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams is inactive for Sunday's game against Detroit.
Williams, the team's top returning receiver from 2017, missed Friday's practice, an absence excused by the Cowboys. Wide receiver Brice Butler, who the team brought back in the last two weeks, is active for the first time since his return.
Williams has just two receptions for 18 yards this season and has played few snaps.
Other Dallas inactives: quarterback Mike White, linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring), center Travis Frederick (illness), guard Xavier Su'a-Filo, tight end Dalton Schultz and defensive tackle Maliek Collins (knee).
