Cowboys hold first practice at The Star on Sunday

The Dallas Cowboys will make history Sunday.

The Cowboys will hold their first practices at The Star, their new headquarters in Frisco, Texas, after spending three weeks of training camp in Oxnard, California. The Cowboys will hold a morning walkthrough before going through a practice in the Ford Center, a 12,000-seat stadium that will also house high school football for the Frisco schools.

Some players visited The Star for treatment following Friday’s 41-14 preseason win against the Miami Dolphins.

The Cowboys called Valley Ranch their practice home for 31 years, but The Star will be a state-of-the-art facility that features state-of-the-art technology in the coaches’ offices, athletic training rooms and weight rooms.
