One week, it’s the Dallas Cowboys defense that let’s the team down. Another week, it’s a special teams error. And on Sunday, against the 3-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, once again it was the Cowboys underwhelming offense that cost them a victory. For the seventh game in a row, Dallas was defeated, this time in a heart-breaking loss to the lowly Bucs, 10-6.
Though they once again led the game in time of possession (30:04), the Cowboys struggled to generate points. Quarterback Matt Cassel would finish the day completing 19 of his 30 passes for 186 yards and one game-sealing interception.
