These franchises have met in a record three Super Bowls with Pittsburgh winning two in the 1970s and the Cowboys winning one in the 1990s.
The Cowboys lead the all-time series with a 16-15 mark thanks to their overtime win against the Steelers at AT&T Stadium in 2012 that was set up by an interception. In the Cowboys last trip to Pittsburgh, a late interception return for a touchdown marked the difference in a 20-13 loss in 2008.
