OAKLAND -- This had the look of a cakewalk from the start, the Cowboys jumping to a 10-0 lead over the Raiders before Oakland had a single first down. But as we know by now, looks can be awfully deceiving in the NFL.
In the end, Dak Prescott kept his team's thin playoff hopes alive in a 20-17 victory over the Raiders. But you can also boil it all down to the fact that neither of Prescott's two interceptions proved to be the ultimate mistake. That went to Raiders quarterback Derek Carr in the final seconds of the game, diving for the end zone (when he already had a first down just by crossing the five-yard line) and fumbling the ball away for a touchback.
