Dalton Schultz got a new contract from a Texas team, but probably not the one most people expected. The free agent tight end signed with the Houston Texans on Monday, ending his five-year run with the Dallas Cowboys.
Houston has added Schultz, a starter for Dallas over the last three years, on a one-year deal worth up to $9 million. It is less than the $10.9 million he earned last year with the Cowboys on the franchise tag.
