It is the year 2020 and Byron Jones is the highest-paid cornerback in the National Football League.
The Miami Dolphins will be the team writing checks to Byron for the foreseeable future as the Dallas Cowboys saw him depart in free agency. This obviously leaves cornerback as a huge need for the Cowboys entering the 2020 NFL Draft, but relying simply on that wouldn’t exactly be the best idea.
In an effort to be totally prepared the Cowboys signed cornerback Maurice Canady when free agency first began.
