The Dallas Cowboys got some terrible news on Sunday. During training camp practice, defensive end Sam Williams went down with a knee injury and had to be carted off the field. Team owner Jerry Jones said that the team didn't like what they saw, and an MRI has confirmed the worst possible outcome as the former second-round pick has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the 2024 season.
The MRI confirmed that promising DE Sam Williams is out for the season with a torn ACL. Brutal. https://t.co/MRZZCHfkj8

The Cowboys are no stranger to ACL tears as All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs and 2023 third-round linebacker DeMarvion Overshown are currently rehabbing the same setback from a year ago.
