For some, finding a reason to be excited about a matchup between the 3-8 Dallas Cowboys and the 5-6 Washington Redskins was a bit of a challenge. Despite both NFC East teams still being in the playoff hunt, even with their poor records, their rivalry showcase on Monday Night Football wasn’t exactly the hottest ticket in the NFL. And for most of the contest, both the Cowboys and the Redskins proved to be as lackluster as their records indicated.
