The Dallas Cowboys aren’t quite ready to shut the door on Andy Dalton playing on Sunday night, but they have designated him as “doubtful” heading into the game with the Philadelphia Eagles. Earlier today, coach Mike McCarthy said Dalton would have to practice on Saturday to stand any chance of playing, but also said he is currently not scheduled to practice on Saturday. He didn't rule out the possibility that Dalton could be a backup for the game, but it’s looking more and more likely that seventh-round rookie Ben DiNucci will get his first NFL start.
