Tyrone Crawford doesn't want to engage in a running dispute with the NFL. He understands and agrees with the league's thrust to improve player safety.
But the Cowboys defensive tackle is just one of many defenders around the league encouraged that NFL officials intend to take another look at what constitutes a roughing-the-passer penalty these days.
"You grow up hitting and going full speed," Crawford said in a conference call with local reporters Tuesday. "You know one way to do it.
"I mean, when you've been doing something your whole life it's hard to change, especially now at this point in our career.
