Dallas Cowboys defensive end David Irving suffered a high ankle sprain in practice Thursday, putting his status for Monday’s game against the Tennessee Titans in doubt, per sources.
Irving was seen in the locker room on crutches. And while X-Rays came back negative and sources initially indicated that the injury wasn’t too serious, the possible diagnosis of a high ankle sprain could sideline him for Monday night if not longer.
It’s another setback for Irving, who missed the first four games of the season under NFL suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
