FRISCO - Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving attended all three days of the team's mandatory minicamp this week after missing organized team activities. Yet, he worked on conditioning off to the side, meaning he didn't take part in any of Dallas' 12 minicamp and OTA practices.
After Thursday's final practice, which concludes Dallas' offseason program, he met with reporters for the first time about his tumultuous offseason.
"I wasn't here because I chose not to be here," Irving said. "If I could've come I would've, but I couldn't for certain days, so I didn't. It has nothing to do with me being out of shape.
