The Dallas Cowboys seemed to be facing an uphill battle against the 8-5 Los Angeles Rams going into their Week 15 matchup at AT&T Stadium. As the last team the Cowboys would face with a winning record on their schedule, the hopes that Dallas would finally defeat a plus .500 foe seemed slim.
After all, the Cowboys were coming off a three-game losing streak with two losses suffered during back-to-back Thursday performances including a loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thanksgiving and the Chicago Bears. The other defeat was at the hands of the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
