Greg Hardy pulled up and took a knee late in Thursday’s practice after hurting himself on the left side of his upper body during individual drills. He completed practice but clearly favored that side the rest of the afternoon.
“I don’t get hurt,’’ Hardy proclaimed as he signed autographs for fans before leaving the field. “I’m invincible.’’
Stephen Jones, the team’s executive vice president, said Hardy suffered a strain that wasn’t considered to be serious. The training staff was checking the defensive end out after practice as a precaution.
