Cowboys DE Greg Hardy faces arbitrator who ruled against Adrian Peterson

If Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy is to get his suspension shortened or removed, he must sway an arbitrator who has a history of trying to apply the NFL’s new domestic abuse policy on old cases. But Hardy has a precedent that can help him.

Harold Henderson will be the arbitrator who will determine if a change is needed in Hardy’s 10-game suspension, according to Fox Sports. An NFL-appointed selection, Henderson also was chosen to rule in the appeal case of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.

Henderson dismissed Peterson’s appeal in December with the argument that the suspension fit the NFL’s current domestic violence policy.
