Greg Hardy and his representatives are in Washington D.C. this morning to argue that the player’s 10-game suspension should be overturned or reduced.
Harold Henderson, a former NFL executive, will hear the appeal. He’s the same person who upheld the commissioner’s punishment on Minnesota running back Adrian Peterson last season, a case that eventually wound up in court before Peterson was reinstated by the league.
The Cowboys play no role in this appeal process.
“No real comment beyond just supporting him,’’ head coach Jason Garrett said. “This is part of the process that he’s going to go through in appealing this suspension.
