David Irving and Nolan Carroll are the latest Cowboys to face consequences from the NFL for their offseason actions.
DeMarcus Lawrence knows what they're going through. One year ago the Cowboys defensive end stood where his teammates do now.
"It's hard during the offseason, not having that base behind you and you're going out doing everything that you want to do,'' said Lawrence, who was suspended for the first four games of last season for amphetamine use. "There's too much free time.
"You just got to have a strict schedule. Stay on your schedule. Focus on yourself.
