Jason Garrett was in no mood to discuss much involving his team Tuesday.
But the Cowboys head coach became a little more talkative when asked about the 40th anniversary of Born to Run, the seminal work by Bruce Springsteen.
“Well, first of all I think it dates us all,’’ Garrett said. “But it’s the iconic Bruce Springsteen album. Seen the future of rock and roll, his name is Bruce Springsteen. I think that was the album that everybody was waiting for.’’
Garrett was turned onto the rocker’s music by his older brothers and sisters when they lived in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey.
