So when did keeping up with the Philadelphia Eagles become a thing?
The landscape changes quickly in the NFL, almost overnight at times, and that may be the ace-in-the-hole for the Dallas Cowboys, at least long term, against their visiting rivals. The last time these teams squared off, the Cowboys were resting starters, sitting 13-2 with a pair of losses totaling four points. The Eagles were a last-place team apparently "stuck" with Doug Pederson as head coach.
If only they could have had the Giants' Ben McAdoo, riding high with 11 wins...
Thus, if you are paying any attention whatsoever to NFL news beyond courtrooms and billionaires threatening each other with lawsuits, you know that the Eagles are on top of not only the NFC East but the entire NFL with an 8-1 record.
