Cowboys bringing in veteran CB Brandon Boykin for a workout

The Dallas Cowboys are bringing in veteran cornerback Brandon Boykin for a workout. It's expected to take place Wednesday.

Boykin, who will turn 26 next month, was a fourth-round pick in 2012 by the Philadelphia Eagles. Boykin played his first three seasons with the Eagles, recording a career-high six interceptions and 16 pass breakups in 2013.

Boykin (5-10, 176) signed a one-year deal with the Carolina Panthers in March but was released last month. He was traded by the Eagles to the Pittsburgh Steelers last season. Boykin's playing time was limited with the Steelers, and he finished with only one interception and five pass breakups with 25 tackles.
