LANDOVER, Md. – Well, the Dallas Cowboys are alive.
Barely but alive.
And it could not have been any crazier than their 19-16 win against the Washington Redskins.
A game devoid of touchdowns for the first 58 minutes had two in a 30-second span but then a 46-yard kickoff return by Lucky Whitehead set up the Cowboys final winning drive.
After two passes to Dez Bryant for 20 yards, Dan Bailey drilled a 54-yarder with nine seconds to go to give the Cowboys a 19-16 lead. It was the 10th game-winning kick of Bailey’s career.
