IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys bolstered their offensive line numbers on Friday by signing offensive tackle Cody Clay.
Clay was one of five players to work out for the team Friday morning during the team’s off day. The undrafted rookie is a local product, as he’s from Orange County and played college football for nearby Asuza Pacific University – a Division II school.
The team waived/injured Will Smith to make room on the roster. The linebacker, a seventh-round pick in 2014, was signed to the training camp roster last week after he was released in May.
