Cowboys add to defensive line with Stephen Paea

FRISCO, Texas -- Having lost two defensive linemen on the first day of free agency, the Dallas Cowboys added one Friday in veteran Stephen Paea.

Paea, who will earn $2 million, played in 13 games last season for the Cleveland Browns and was credited with 12 tackles and a half-sack. With the departure of Terrell McClain to the Washington Redskins, the Cowboys hope Paea can help stop the run up the middle with Cedric Thornton, the Cowboys’ biggest free-agent signing a year ago at four years, $17 million, and Maliek Collins.
