In 2015, the Dallas Cowboys learned what life is like when you lose an all-Pro caliber player and have no quality backup. No, we are not talking about quarterback Tony Romo but rather wide receiver Dez Bryant.
After breaking his foot in the season’s first game, Bryant was limited to only nine games played this season. The type of injury he sustained typically puts the player out of action for the remainder of the season but Bryant returned to the field in just seven weeks.
Although he was physically in the lineup, Bryant was not the same caliber of player that he is when healthy.
