If you honestly believe the Cowboys took a big step forward by winning a playoff game this season, then you're fine with the status quo. The likelihood of Jason Garrett, Scott Linehan and Rod Marinelli returning in 2019 -- barring a wild change of heart from Jerry Jones that does not seem to be forthcoming -- does not bother you.
Garrett suggested on 105.3 The Fan [KRLD-FM] Monday that Linehan will return. Vice president Stephen Jones said no coaching discussions have been held, so maybe there's a difference of opinion there. Regardless, the most dramatic change Cowboys fans might get would be someone else running Garrett's offense.
