The Cowboys received a scare Sunday when first round pick Byron Jones and Morris Claiborne inadvertently collided while trying to cover a crossing pattern to receiver Nick Harwell. Jones injured his left shoulder, the same one that required season-ending surgery 10 months ago at Connecticut. Owner Jerry Jones said the injury isn’t serious. It will likely keep the cornerback/safety out of Sunday’s preseason game against San Francisco but not much longer.
