Caitlyn Jenner has been on Twitter for only a few hours and she’s already left Tony Romo in her wake.
The Cowboys quarterback announced his belated arrival to Twitter on May 14 with a simple post stating his jersey number: 9.
Jenner’s debut wasn’t quite as subdued. The gold medal athlete’s first post after her transition to a woman was a photograph on the cover of Vanity Fair with the headline “Call Me Caitlyn.’’
Four hours and three minutes after that post Monday morning Jenner had more than one million followers. She broke the record for fastest account to reach that threshold since President Barak Obama broke the barrier in roughly five hours on May 18.
