OXNARD, Calif. — Byron Jones said his shoulder felt good during Tuesday’s practice. The rookie wasn’t wearing a protective shoulder strap, either.
It was Jones’ first full practice since injuring his left shoulder during 7-on-7 drills on Aug. 16.
“It felt great,” Jones said. “Going out there hitting people, I didn’t think about it once throughout the entire practice.
“It’s one of those things it may flare up again. It’s no big deal. For me, as long as it’s structurally sound, that’s going to keep me at ease. If it’s not popping out, sliding out, I’m happy.
