I'm not known for rushing to the Jones family's defense on legal matters and I suspect even once they reimburse the NFL for its legal fees, they won't be forced to conduct a garage sale Saturday morning to make amends.
(But if they do, I'm in, I'd like to see what they're selling).
It was reported Tuesday that Jones will have to pay in the range of $2 million for the league's legal fees in the Ezekiel Elliott case and in his threatened lawsuit of NFL owners on the compensation committee. That, of course, stemmed from the Elliott case as Jones sought to block a contract extension for Commissioner Roger Goodell.
