IRVING, Texas – As the Cowboys prepare to coach in this week’s Senior Bowl, Jerome Henderson is moving on to join the Atlanta Falcons’ staff.
Henderson, the Cowboys’ secondary coach since 2012, had an expiring contract and interviewed with three teams this month. The Falcons announced Monday his title will be passing game coordinator.
Earlier this month, Henderson met with the Cleveland Browns about their head coaching vacancy, ultimately filled by Hue Jackson, and the Jacksonville Jaguars’ vacant defensive coordinator job that went to Todd Wash. This past Friday, Henderson interviewed with the Falcons for a position on their staff.
