The NFL recently filed a motion for an emergency stay of the preliminary injunction that was ordered in the Ezekiel Elliott case, allowing him to continue to play. Judge Amos Mazzant granted Elliott and the NFLPA the injunction while he fights his six-game suspension in the court system. The NFL had wanted an answer by September 26. They won’t get that, but oral arguments will be heard on the motion on October 2.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed Friday to hold oral arguments between the NFL and NFL Players Association.
