FRISCO, Texas -- In his rookie season with the Washington Redskins in 2012, Alfred Morris did not take time to breathe.
When the season ended and he ran the ball 335 times for 1,613 yards, he exhaled.
“When the season was over, I’m like, ‘Woo, that was a long season,’ and ‘Woo, I’ve got to recover,’” Morris said. “But during it I was going and going and going and going. After that you learn how to take care of your body and how to peak at the right times. Taking care of your body is the biggest key.
