FRISCO, Texas -- Justin Durant had been considering retirement the longer the offseason gone on and he did not have a job. He had some contact with the Dallas Cowboys in the spring, but nothing firm to know they would sign him.
He worked out every day, wondering if his life was about to take another turn.
About 10 days before the Cowboys were to board a plane for Oxnard, California, and training camp, Durant signed.
He returned to the Cowboys for moments like their Week 2 win against the Washington Redskins.
