Perhaps nothing has been more frustrating for Cowboys fans this offseason than waiting for WR CeeDee Lamb to be signed to a long-term extension. Ever since Jerry Jones’ infamous quote of “letting the leaves fall”, every wide receiver extension across the league has emphasized the fact that Lamb has yet to receive his deal. Coming off a season where Lamb broke the Cowboys single-season record in receptions and yards, it’s hard to fathom why he hasn’t received the massive payday he deserves yet. With all that said, there is a silver lining to Lamb holding out from training camp.
