Jason Witten is revered by many fans and media members for his distinguished career as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.

The team’s all-time leader in receptions retired last spring and took a broadcasting job on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football.”

But so far this season, his performances have been inconsistent and, in some cases, downright poor.

On Twitter during Monday night’s Week 8 AFC East clash between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills, fans and members of the media offered Witten a few criticisms.
