ARLINGTON -- Jason Garrett teams don't start seasons 0-2. It has never happened. The Cowboys responded to their poor performance in the season opener with their best performance since beating the Giants in Week 14 last season.
Here are my thoughts on the Cowboys improving to 1-1 with a Sunday night win over the Giants at AT&T Stadium:
1. Angry Dak Prescott might be the best Dak Prescott. The Cowboys quarterback said "challenge accepted" when asked about Giants safety Landon Collins' comments earlier in the week. Prescott was more fired up than usual early on.
