The Cowboys' front office, scouts, medical personnel and coaching staff will head roughly 900 miles northeast this week to attend the annual NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis.
Most view this event as time for teams to evaluate the 336 prospects invited to participate Tuesday through the following Monday.
But much more than potential draft pick evaluation takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium and the nearby hotels.
