At this point last season, the Dallas Cowboys had a record of 3-3. Sound familiar? The Cowboys are in the exact same position in 2019. Last year, Dallas flip-flopped wins and losses until Week Seven when they lost two games back-to-back ending the first half of their season with a disappointing 3-5 record.
The team’s poor performance prompted two major moves by the Cowboys’ brass during their Week Eight bye. Dallas fired offensive line coach Paul Alexander, promoting former player Marc Colombo to the position.
And the Cowboys traded their first-round selection in 2019 to the Oakland Raiders for Pro Bowl wide receiver Amari Cooper.
